Chrissy Teigen and her family celebrated President Trump’s birthday on Thursday in a big way but donating over $300,000 to the ACLU. Teigen and her husband John Legend have been very outspoken on a number of issues concerning Trump, most recent the separation of children from their parents as they cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
Many children have been placed in foster care while their parents are being put in jail. As a combat to what Teigen says is “cruel, anti-family and go against everything we believe this country should represent,” Teigen and her family donated $288,000 and she has urged others to give $7.20 or $72.00 to ACLU in honor of Trump’s 72nd birthday.
