It's no secret that hospital bills can get really expensive!
She mostly labored at home and gave birth just 20 minutes after entering the delivery room. The couple stayed for one night and left with their newborn baby the next day.
Two weeks later, the couple received the hospital bill from UCSF and revealed that without insurance, it would have cost them over $36,000! Even with insurance, she still had to pay more than $2,000 - which still seems like a lot!
