Televisa Media Company is one of the biggest multimedia companies in Mexico and one of the main sources for entertainment. For the first time ever in the history of the company, they are having a novela, or soap opera, with the two gay lead characters. Emilio Osorio and Joaquin Bondoni play characters to the new novela called "El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca" which translates to The Heart Never Lies. This is a huge step in the Latino LGBTQ+ community to maybe gain more representation and acceptance from their family, friends, and community.
It is currently in production and is rumored to have twenty episodes which may come out on June 24, 2019 in Mexico. Cuentamelo Ya! (Tell me Now!) went behind the scenes while they filmed in Oaxaca, Mexico check the video below.
