Governor Newsom Ordering 30 Counties To Close Indoor Activities

Governor Gavin Newsom has updated the order on some counties and statewide due to COVID-19 cases getting higher.

The state of California must close all bars and indoor operations for the following:

  • Restaurants
  • Wineries
  • Movie Theaters, family entertainment
  • Zoos, museums
  • Cardrooms

Governor Newsom also stated that 30 counties in California MUST CLOSE all operations of:

  • Fitness Centers
  • Places of Worship
  • Offices for Non-Critical Sectors
  • Personal Care Services
  • Hair Salons and Barbershops
  • Malls

The counties impacted are:

  • Colusa
  • Contra Costa
  • Fresno
  • Glenn
  • Imperial
  • Kern
  • Kings
  • LA
  • Madera
  • Marin
  • Merced
  • Monterey
  • Napa
  • Orange
  • Placer
  • Riverside
