Today, Monday (August 3) San Francisco Superior Court denied a legal challenge by real estate organization to a permanent city eviction moratorium aimed at protectings San Francisco renters who are unable to pay due to the current Coronavirus pandemic.
San Francisco Supervisor Dean Preston tweeted out a series of tweets today announcing that, ‘ the court found that the ordinance is a permissible exercise of the city’s power to regulate the grounds for eviction and does not violate state law or the constitution.’
