San Francisco 49ers Game To Possibly Get Canceled Due To Poor Air Quality

This Sunday, September 13, will be the first game of the season for the San Francisco 49ers. Various players will not be able to play due to injuries. Running back Tevin Coleman, who has sickle cell anemia, might not play on Sunday due to the poor air quality. Sources also state that if the air quality reaches 200, they would be forced to cancel the game.

The AQI in Santa Clara continues creeping up. According to AccuWeather, it’s 176 today. 200 would force a cancellation of 49ers-Cardinals on Sunday. On the radio, Kyle Shanahan said this morning that he tries not to think about this as it’s out of his control.
