Bay Area Counties Receiving Ballots In Record Numbers

Bay Area counties are showing up in big numbers with early voting. The amount of ballots received has passed the ballots counted in the 2016 election for each county.

As of October 20 the total number of ballots received in Bay Area counties are:

  • Alamenda County: 237,000
  • Contra Costa County: 225,000
  • Santa Clara County: 218,068
  • San Francisco County: 154,889
  • Sonoma County: 75,155
  • Solano County: 68,000
  • San Mateo County: 116,899
  • Napa County: 19,176

Ballots can be returned by mail, in person at a polling place, or to an official ballot drop-box. You can look for an official ballot drop box here. Your ballot must be in by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3.
