The Oakland City Council will vote today (December 21st) on whether or not the city will require proof of vaccination when dining indoors.
If passed, the ordinance will go into effect on February 1st, 2022. It will require adults to show ID and their COVID-19 vaccination cards in order to dine indoors at restaurants, bars and more throughout the city, according to Eater SF.
San Francisco, Berkeley, Los Angeles and more have already implemented this rule.
