Tourists traveling from Anaheim are on a search for their 1-year-old tabby cat who was stolen during a smash-and-grab robbery in San Francisco.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, they had parked in a Cow Hollow parking garage to grab a quick refreshment at Ghirardelli Square, only to find their car window smashed and cat missing. The cat was in a carrier under a blanket for warmth. The couple assume that the thief grabbed the largest thing they could find and ran off. Other valuables, including backpacks and electronics, were left untouched in the car.
The couple, now back home in Southern California, is offering a cash reward for anyone who returns their beloved cat.
