Happy San Francisco Pride Weekend! Here's everything you need to know about this weekend's festivities!
- EVENTS:
Saturday, June 25 @ 11a-6p: Celebration - Sunday, June 26 @ 10:30a: Parade
- Sunday, June 26 @ 12p-6p: Celebration
CELEBRATION:
The San Francisco Pride Celebration will be located at the Civic Center Plaza and surrounding areas. The Kaiser Permanente Main Stage will feature hosts Yves Saint Croissant and Per Sia, along with performances by Martha Wash, Sherry Cola, Sister Roma, Mila Jam and more! - PARADE:
The annual San Francisco Pride Parade will begin at approximately 10:30a and will take place on Market St. from the Embarcadero to Civic Center Plaza.
WHAT TO BRING / WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Do bring: Soft bags, face masks, assistance animals, strollers, cell phones, portable chargers - Do NOT bring: Bags exceeding 18x18in, glass, fireworks, weapons, pepper spray, radios/speakers, alcohol, coolers. You may not bring alcohol into the celebration.
- *All those entering the SF PRIDE celebration will be screened by metal detectors and prohibited items will be confiscated and thrown away.
TRANSPORTATION
- BART: If you are attending the parade and would like to watch the Civic Center, Powell and Montgomery stations are all along the parade route and your best bet to get a good spot. For those who are marching in the parade, it is best to get off at the Embarcadero station, according to KTVU.
- *All attendees looking to take BART to the celebration are also encouraged to download the Clipper App! Clipper card machines may run out, so be prepared!
MUNI: Riders can look forward to extra MUNI service throughout the weekend on the K Ingleside/T Third, L Taraval and M Ocean View trains.
