California Residents - get ready to check your bank account!
According to CAL Matters, families could receive up to $1,050 due to inflation. Eligible residents must meet the following criteria/household income:
- If you're a single filer making less than $75,000 or joint filers making less than $150,000, you will receive $350 per taxpayer. If you have any dependents, you will receive an additional $350.
- If you're a single filer making up to $125,000 or $250,000 for joint filers, you will receive $250 per taxpayer. If you have any dependents, you will receive an additional $250.
- If you're a single filer making up to $250,000 or $500,000 for joint filers, you will receive $200 per taxpayer. If you have any dependents, you will receive an additional $200.
- If you're a single filer making above $250,000 or $500,000 for joint filers, you will not receive a rebate check.
Eligible residents will begin to receive payments starting in October.
