California "inflation relief" tax refund payments are scheduled to go out in October.
Californians may receive payment based on the below requirements, according to SF GATE:
- Must have completed their 2020 taxes
- Make no more than $250,000 as an individual or $500,000 if filed jointly
Payment is as follows:
- $350 - Individual filers making less than $75,000
- $350 each - Joint filers making less than $150,000
- $350 additional with dependents - Individual filers making less than $75,000 + Joint filers making less than $150,000
- $250 - Individual filers making more than $75,000 but less than $125,000
- $250 each - Filers who filed jointly, make more than $150,000 but less than $250,000
- $250 additional with dependents - Individual filers making more than $75,000 but less than $125,000 + Filers who filed jointly, make more than $150,000 but less than $250,000

Eligible recipients will be receiving payment via direct deposit or debit cards in the mail, depending on how they filed their taxes.
