Looks like it's going to be another tough week for people working in tech!
According to CNBC, Bay Area based tech company, Meta, is getting ready for another round of mass layoffs. The layoffs will reportedly impact thousands of employees and start as early as Wednesday.
Twitter made headlines last week after employees were instructed to check their work email or personal email with more information on their employment. Their workforce was expected to be reduced by 50%-70%. As a result of the recent mass layoffs at multiple companies in the Bay Area, San Francisco Mayor London Breed encouraged those impacted to apply for city jobs, using benefits and job security as a perk.
