A blood moon is on the way!
The total lunar eclipse is set to happen early Tuesday morning around 2:16am and will end at 3:41am. According to SF Gate, the more dust, volcanic ash and pollution there is on Earth - the redder the moon will appear. If weather permits, you should be able to see it from where you live in the Bay Area!
The next total lunar eclipse won't happen again until 2025.
