The rain has only just begun in the Bay Area!
According to KRON 4, the worst of the rain is expected to come on Wednesday and Thursday, causing the entire Bay Area to be under flood watch during this time. Residents should plan for heavy rain and strong gusts of wind.
"The impacts will include widespread flooding, roads washing out, hillside collapsing, trees down (potentially full groves), widespread power outages, immediate disruption to commerce, and the worst of all, likely loss of human life. This is truly a brutal system that we are looking at and needs to be taken seriously," experts say.
