The storm continues!
The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management advised residents to stay home and avoid travel on Monday morning due to the storm hitting the Bay Area.
"Heavy rain and high winds overnight means flooded streets, downed trees and other debris on the roads. Avoid travel if you can," officials recommend. "Please use extreme caution while driving through flooded areas and standing water. One foot of moving water can sweep your vehicle away."
According to 511 SF Bay and as of 8a this morning, there are road closures at the following locations:
- OAKLAND: Southbound CA-13 at Moraga Ave.
- FREMONT: CA-84 between Niles Canyon Rd. and Pleasanton Sunol Rd.
- CALISTOGA: Northbound CA-29 between Paoli Loop and S. Kelly Rd.
- NAPA: CA-121 between Creek Birdge and CA-12
