Google is getting ready for a round of mass layoffs!
According to KRON 4, the tech giant plans to layoff 12,000 workers in several "product areas, functions, levels and regions." The layoff will impact 6% of the company's workforce in the U.S. and across the globe.
In 2022, Google employed nearly 187,000.
