Pancake Breakfast: Before the parade kicks off, fuel up for the day's festivities at the Half Moon Bay Lions Club's annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast. Located in the rear City Hall parking lot (501 Main Street), this delicious breakfast will be served from 8:00 am to 11:30 am

The highlight of the day is the Ol' Fashioned 4th of July Parade, which starts at 12 noon and lasts approximately 90 minutes. Floats, marching bands, horses, community service groups, classic cars, decorated trikes and bikes, parading pooches, youth sports teams, dance and theatre troupes, and even the playful Pumpkin Festival mascot, "Gourdy." Local dignitaries and celebrities also participate, adding to the excitement as they wind their way through the crowded downtown along Main Street between Filbert and Mill Streets.
Then celebrations continue with two fantastic events. The Coastside Chamber 4th of July Block Party, held in Mac Dutra Plaza. Live music, a kids zone, beer and wine, and even a Patriotic Outfit Contest. Join in the festivities and enjoy until 3 pm. Additionally, the IDES 4th of July Festival offers another opportunity to immerse yourself in the Independence Day spirit. With live music, food and drink booths, arts and crafts vendors, and engaging kids' activities, this festival is a must-visit destination. The IDES 4th of July Festival runs until 4 pm.
