If you were following the Apple Keynote a couple weeks ago, you may have seen the "Meet iPhone X" video that was shown after the new phone debuted, featuring an insanely catchy song. That soundtrack is courtesy of Sofi Tukker — a New York-based indie-house-pop duo — with their song "Best Friend." The song is as feature-packed as the phone it introduced, with NERVO, The Knocks, and Alisa Ueno all contributing to the funky beat and earworm vocals.
Prior to "Best Friend," the duo had an international hit with their song "Drinkee", which was nominated for a Grammy earlier this year for best dance recording. Even though they lost out to The Chainsmokers & Daya for their massive hit "Don't Let Me Down," it's still a feather in their cap for the relative newcomers.
