Detroit-based singer Quinn XCII (pronounced "ninety-two") dropped his debut album 'The Story of Us' last fall, and his single 'Straightjacket' is continuing to pick up steam. The song incorporates a lot of different musical styles, ranging from pop and electronic to hip-hop and rap.
In his track-by-track breakdown for iHeartRadio, Quinn described the song as being about a type of person that a lot of people are familiar with, someone who is "two-faced, who acts a certain way in public and totally different behind closed doors." He explains that an old high-school relationship was what sparked the idea for the track.
