What do you do if you're Chance the Rapper and made history with your independent music career? You costar in a horror movie of course! The trailer for the film, Slice, was released today. The film stars Zazie Beetz, who you can see on Atlanta and in Deadpool 2 as a bad ass werewolf hunter. The rest of the cast includes Steve (Joe Keery) and comedian Paul Scheer. The official synopsis of the film is:
In a spooky small town, when a slew of pizza delivery boys are slain on the job, two daring survivors (Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz and Chance the Rapper in a wild film debut) set out to catch the culprits behind the cryptic crime spree.
The film looks campy, like The Evil Dead meets Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
