Inside KIIS FM’s 2018 Jingle Ball: Cardi B, Shawn Mendes and More

Christmas came early! Shawn MendesCardi B, Calvin HarrisCamila CabelloKhalid with special guest NormaniDua LipaG-EazyAlessia CaraBazziBebe Rexha and K-Pop sensation MONSTA X hit the stage at this year’s KIIS FM Jingle Ball presented by Capital One at The Forum in Los Angeles on Friday, November 30. 

The stop comes amid iHeartRadio’s 2018 Jingle Ball Tour, which also hits Dallas, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Tampa and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. 

MONSTA X, K-Pop sensation group, made history as the first-ever K-Pop group to perform at the bash while Cardi B closed the epic event, leaving us wanting to repeat the night all over again. See below for a complete recap:

BEBE REXHA SLAYS, DELIVERS POWERFUL SNOW QUEEN PERFORMANCE: 

Bebe Rexha transformed herself a sassy snow queen for her KIIS FM 2018 Jingle Ball performance. The songstress slayed and belted out hits including "I'm a Mess" and Florida Georgia Line collab "Meant to Be," perfectly setting the tone for the dance party of an evening. 

BAZZI TEASES THE CROWD WITH HIT AFTER HIT:

Clad in an acid wash Canadian tuxedo, Bazzi serenaded the crowd with hit after hit. Teasing the audience before each song and asking “Have you heard of a song called …” before breaking out into hits including “Myself,” “Dreams,” “Beautiful,” “3:15,” and “Mine.” Before exiting the stage, Bazzi enlisted the help of the crowd to conclude an acoustic version of “Mine.”

MONSTA X PERFORMS AS FIRST-EVER K-POP GROUP AT JINGLE BALL:

Introduced by Ryan Seacrest, MONSTA X hyped up the crowd with their perfectly coordinated choreography, chains and hip thrusts, delivering a history-making 3-song set as the first-ever K-Pop group to perform at the annual bash. 

SHAWN MENDES SURPRISES THE CROWD WITH KHALID:

Not only did Shawn Mendes deliver a swoon-worthy 30-minute set during KIIS FM’s 2018 Jingle Ball presented by Capital One on Friday, November 30, at The Forum in Los Angeles, he surprised the crowd by bringing out pal and “Youth” collaborator Khalid. He also performed current hits “Lost In Japan” and “Stitches” before closing with "In My Blood."

CALVIN HARRIS TRANSFORMED KIIS FM'S JINGLE BALL INTO A DANCE CLUB:

Turn it up! Calvin Harris transformed The Forum in Los Angeles into his residency in Las Vegas and got the energy flowing in the sold-out arena. The DJ pumped out hits including “Feel So Close,” "Summer," Rihanna's "We Found Love,"  and "Sweet Nothing."

ALESSIA CARA CELEBRATES THE RELEASE OF "THE PAINS OF GROWING":

Alessia Cara celebrated the release of her second studio album "The Pains of Growing" and performed a bevy of new tracks including "Growing Pains," "Trust My Lonely," and tear-jerker "Not Today." She wrapped up her performance with "Scars to Your Beautiful" and "Stay." 

DUA LIPA PROVES SHE'S A BADASS:

Dressed in holiday-perfect green sequins and fringe, Dua Lipa didn't disappoint when she emerged onstage and along with backup dancers shimmied her way through hits including "One Kiss," "Electricity" and "New Rules."

G-EAZY BRINGS OUT SURPRISE GUESTS ANTHONY RUSSO AND MARC E. BASSY:

G-Eazy brought out pals Anthony Russo and Marc E. Bassy for collabs "Rewind," "Love Her Too,” and “You & Me.” The rapper also performed hit "Me, Myself & I,” 2014 throwback "I Mean It," “1942” and Halsey-fan favorite "Him & I." 

CAMILA CABELLO COVERS ELVIS PRESLEY'S "CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE":

Camila Cabello sent the audience into a trance when she emerged through rain onstage at the 2018 KIIS FM Jingle Ball presented by Capital One at The Forum in Los Angeles on Friday, November 30. The songstress kicked off her performance with a soulful rendition of “Never Be the Same” before covering Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love." She concluded her performance by taking the audiences' breath away with "Consequences" and then "Havana." 

KHALID BRINGS OUT SPECIAL GUEST NORMANI:

All the feels 🙌 Khalid brought out Normani. The five-time Grammy-nominated singer performed a bevy of hits including “Young Dumb & Broke,” “Better,” “Silence” and “Location.” The “American Teen” singer collaborated with Normani on “Love Lies” for the former Fifth Harmony member’s solo debut. Normani also came through to the Mercedes Benz Lounge at KIIS FM's 2018 Jingle Ball Presented By Capital One and revealed fans can expect her new project to drop in 2019. 

CARDI B CLOSES OUT KIIS FM'S JINGLE BALL WITH HUSBAND OFFSET:

Okurrr! Cardi B shut it down. The rapper closed out the show with an epic performance of “Drip” and “Money Bag” before welcoming special guest Offset onstage. The duo performed “Ric Flair Drip.” Cardi then closed the show with “Ring” and “I Like It” off her latest album Invasion of Privacy and threw it back to “Bickenhead,” “Finesse” and “Bodak Yellow.”
