Castro Valley Rejects Chick-Fil-A Opening Proposal

This week the Castro Valley Municipal Advisory Council, community & Alameda County staff decided to reject a proposal that hoped to plant a Chick-Fil-A drive thru restauant for 90 sit down guests on Castro Valley Blvd. They said that there's already a McDonalds and Wendy's within a mile of where the location was proposed to open which would cause more traffic than there already is in that space. Chick-Fil-A's past support of anti-LGBTQ efforts was also an issue that got brought up during the proposal. Read more details here.
