A Georgia couple is behind bars in spite of going to "extreme measures" to hide their stash of marijuana during a high-speed car chase.
Whitney Bailey, 23, and Brian Turner, 22, are facing multiple charges in connection with the incident, which happened earlier this week in Carroll County, authorities say. After a police officer stopped the pair because they were driving what appeared to be a stolen vehicle, Baily floored it, leading authorities on a "wild pursuit" that involved driving in the wrong lane and exceeding speeds of 80 miles per hour, a spokesman says.
During the chase, a frantic Turner disposed of a bag of marijuana by stuffing it into his mouth and swallowing it, police say. Bailey, who also had weed on her, apparently wasn't willing to lose her stash permanently. She hid hers in an unspecified "body cavity," according to her arrest report. Both are being held without bail.
Where's the weirdest place you've hidden something?
