DC Universe is giving fans the first Latinx superhero, Blue Beetle!
Angel Manuel Soto was chosen as the director of the movie. He will be focusing on the most recent version where Blue Beetle is introduced as Jaime Reyes, a Mexican-American teenager. This version has Blue Beetle get his powers from a scarab that binds to his spine and provides him with a powerful blue alien armor with weapons and wings.
Production is rumored to start this fall!
