Ohio Girl Scout Leader Accused Of Stealing $12,500 In Cookie Money

Jill Gauthier, a former girl scout leader, needed some money and thought she could steal it from her Girl Scout troop.

The Ohio resident got busted for stealing $12,500 in money from cookie sales and event fees.

She's been depositing cookie money in her account for about five years before getting caught.

Ohio Attorney General said in a release, "She was literally caught with her hand in the cookie jar — an adult-size jar that should carry an adult-size timeout in a place with locking doors and barred windows. How many boxes of Thin Mints will her troop need to sell to make up for her betrayal."

Her trial is set for May.

What are the best and worst cookie flavors?
