The city of Palo Alto is a victim once again of another handbag robbery. This time a group of seven people stole $50,000 worth of bags from The RealReal on University Ave. Investigators say that five of the suspects entered the store and began to rip the bags from the security cables. The store security tried to block them from leaving the store but the group was able to push him out of the way. He then followed them but two other suspects were waiting for him outside and threaten to pull out a gun. A total of about 20 bags were stolen. Police believe this was connected to a previous robbery at Stanford Shopping center.
