It seems like car break-ins are happening more frequently in San Francisco (or more incidents are being caught on camera).
Anybody who lives in San Francisco, or anyone from the Bay Area for that matter, knows it's never a good idea to leave anything in your car. From valuables like laptops and backpacks to car seats and small change, don't risk getting your windows smashed in. Some people go as far as leaving the doors unlocked to save their windows.
A video was recently released showing the suspect smashing in a window and stealing bags out of a vehicle. This happened all within 15 seconds.
