Smoke From Western Wildfires Triggers Air Quality Warnings In San Francisco

An air quality advisory has been extended until Tuesday, August 24. The Caldor Fire continues to burn and has been active for nine days at only 5% containment as of 08/23/21 11:36 AM. Hazy skies have been seen across the Bay Area. If residents smell smoke, they are encouraged to stay indoors and avoid long exposure.

Exposure to smoke can cause irritation in the eyes and airways causing coughing and rritated sinuses. You can check the air quality in your area here.
