Angelina Jolie debuted a brand new tattoo at this year's Tony Awards as she walked the red carpet arm in arm with daughter Vivienne, 15. The stunning mother-of-six donned a whimsical 2013 archival Atelier Versace gown (that she personally designed with late longtime tailor Luigi Massi) with matching seafoam satin Atelier Versace pumps aside Vivienne, her mini me and date for the evening, dressed in an Atelier Jolie design made from deadstock fabric from Italy in the color blue, inspired by The Outsiders.

Fans were quick to notice that a magical dress was not the only thing that the Maleficent star was showing off amid award show festivities. Photos of the star depict fresh ink just above the sweetheart neckline of her gown. The new tattoo in question looks to be a sparrow-like bird taking flight.

According to People, the 49-year-old icon was nominated for "co-producing the musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton's 1967 book The Outsiders, which took home a Tony Award for "best musical" at this year's award show. The actress spoke on the book's history during the show, praising its lasting impact on society.

"[S. E.] Hinton wrote The Outsiders in high school, and half a century later, it still speaks to us. Society changes, but the experience of being an outsider is universal. To any young person, any person, feeling on the outside, you are not wrong to see what is unfair. You are not wrong to wish to find your own path. As the cast raise their voices, I hope it inspires many of you watching to value yours."

It was only fitting that The Tourist standout attend the illustrious event with Vivienne, as it was the child who inspired her to take on the role as co-producer after the two attended The Outsiders musical premiere in California last year. Jolie has yet to comment on her new ink.
