Today Universal Studios Hollywood announced that their new "Fast & Furious"-themed roller coaster is officially under construction.
According to KTLA 5, the "new coaster is expected to fully engulf guests in the 'Fast and Furious' universe through 'innovative and technological achievements never previously employed.'" Rumors about this new roller coaster were shared back in October when a screenshot of a permit was floating online about the new roller coaster. There has been talks that the coaster would "include cars that 'drift' on the coaster track to replicate the movement of cars in the films."
