The 10 Freeway In DTLA Might Reopen In The Next 3-5 Weeks

Over the weekend, a huge fire had damaged a portion of the 10 Freeway in DTLA. Today, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that "after analysis of core samples taken from the freeway" it won't need to be demolished and its predicted that even some lanes are expected to reopen in the coming weeks.

The estimated time on reopening is 3-5 weeks and it "may not include the reopening of all lanes" as crews continue repair work on the freeway. Currently the closure of the 10 Freeway in DTLA is between Alameda Street and the East Los Angeles Interchange. For more, click here.
