According to Variety, a "One Tree Hill" sequel series is in the works at Netflix.
Variety learned from sources that Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, and Danneel Ackles from the original series will be executive producers of the sequel. As of right now Bush and Burton will be reprising their roles in the sequel and a possibility that Ackles will return as well.
As for the rest of the cast, there is no news at this time on who else from the original cast would be returning. Some of the other cast that was in the hit show included Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, Bethany Joy Lenz, Paul Johansson and Lee Norris.
