A groom's special day was put in jeopardy after he and his groomsmen got trapped inside an elevator on Saturday, September 11, in Emeryville.
According to KRON4, the groom and his groomsmen were running late to the chapel on the wedding day when they got stuck inside the elevator.
Luckily, the Alameda County firefighters quickly came to their rescue. Crews were able to safely get them out of the broken elevator just in time for the wedding.
The Alameda County Fire Department took to Twitter to share a photo of the crew and the groom and best man.
"The crew was able to assist in getting them out of the elevator…and the groom and his best man to the Church for his wedding day. Congratulations to the happy couple! #ALCOFIRE @alcofirefighter"
